MDT Remind Privacy Policy

MikrodTech ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how MDT Remind handles information when you use the application.

Information We Collect

MDT Remind is designed primarily to store and manage your reminders and app preferences on your device.

Reminder Information: Information you enter when creating reminders, such as reminder titles, notes, dates, times, and repeat settings.
App Preferences: Settings such as your selected theme, reminder volume, alarm sound, vibration preference, auto-stop duration, and snooze duration.
Audio Selections: If you choose music or an audio file from your device for reminders, MDT Remind stores the reference needed to use that selected audio for your reminders.

MDT Remind does not require you to create an account and does not directly request your name, email address, phone number, or physical location for its core reminder functionality.

How We Use Your Information

To create, schedule, and deliver the reminders you configure.
To remember your app preferences and settings.
To play the alarm tone or audio you select for your reminders.
To provide notification, vibration, snooze, and alarm functionality.
To maintain scheduled reminder functionality after device restarts or relevant system changes.

Permissions and Device Features

MDT Remind requests certain Android permissions and device capabilities to provide reliable reminder and alarm functionality. Depending on your device and Android version, these may include:

Notifications: Used to notify you when a reminder is due.
Exact Alarms: Used to schedule reminders for the times you specify.
Vibration: Used when vibration is enabled for a reminder.
Background and Boot Functionality: Used to maintain scheduled reminders after device restarts or relevant system changes.
Do Not Disturb Access: Used when you choose to allow MDT Remind to override Do Not Disturb for reminder alerts.
Audio Access: Used when you select an alarm tone or audio file from your device.

These permissions are used to provide the reminder and alarm features of MDT Remind. You can manage available permissions through your Android device settings.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

MDT Remind does not sell, rent, or trade your reminder information or app preferences.

The reminder information and preferences used by the core functionality of MDT Remind are designed to remain on your device and are not routinely transmitted to MikrodTech servers.

We may disclose information if required to do so by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.

Third-Party Services

The current version of MDT Remind does not use third-party advertising services.

If third-party services are introduced in future versions, this Privacy Policy may be updated to explain how those services process information.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information stored and processed by MDT Remind. Because reminder information and app preferences are primarily stored on your device, the security of your device, operating system, screen lock, and account security also plays an important role in protecting your information.

We continually review the app's security practices and make improvements where appropriate.

Data Retention and Deletion

Reminder information and app preferences are retained on your device for as long as they are needed to provide the app's functionality.

You can delete individual reminders through the app. You can also remove locally stored MDT Remind data through your Android device's app settings or by uninstalling the app, subject to your device's backup settings.

Your Rights

You may access, modify, or delete reminders and preferences stored within the app.
You may remove the app and its locally stored data using your device's normal app-management functions.
